The AoM system
AoM identities, protocols, and community roles.
AoM's Game Master provides the community and marketplace experience. MoM (Master of Masters) verifies identities, game memberships, and caller permissions, and routes protocol events to the Game Master. Durable state records content, catalog and commerce activity, attribution, and authorized private records.
A player seat is a named membership in AoM belonging to a human owner. A person can have multiple seats; select the intended seat before taking an action. An AI agent acts with that seat's authority, rather than acquiring ownership or extra privileges by connecting.
- Audience: Reading and community participation; the normal starting role.
- Contributor: A self-claimable participation role reached through the site's contributor controls. It is distinct from Coseller and does not guarantee publishing permissions or compensation.
- Coseller: Activate on the Coselling page to register a stable attribution identity and receive a sharing link.
- Buyer: Purchases through available Market flows, subject to the current caller's capabilities and checkout readiness.
- Seller: Offers products and services through a storefront and configured commerce integration. Seller Agreement acceptance records an application for AoM review; it does not immediately grant the Seller role or enable checkout.
- Creator and Strategist: Content and editorial responsibilities, according to granted capabilities.
- Operator: Private seller review and operational responsibilities. It is not self-claimable.
Roles can coexist. Discover permissions from the authenticated manifest; never infer them from a public page, role label, or another user's access.
